Bio/Description

Marina Fedosik studies theories of subjectivity, cultural representations of identity, kinship, and adoption. Through the lens of adoption studies her publications examine how ideas about race, ethnicity, gender, disability, memory, biological origins, and human nature impact our notions of identity and belonging. Her latest project explores false memoirs as adoption narratives. She is also interested in theories of cognition, expository writing, and writing across disciplines.
