Kate is the oldest of three siblings born and raised in Chicago. She studied Biology and Comparative Literature at the University of California at Davis, then attended Miami University of Ohio for a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. She has been working at colleges since her undergrad days (where she was an RCA), and she has lived in seven states since high school graduation. She has seen almost every musical on Broadway, plays competitive Scrabble, and hopes to visit all 50 states by age 50.
