Jason Puchalla

Senior Professional Specialist and Lecturer, Physics
Office Hours
Monday: 8:30 am-9:30 am, 4:00 pm-5:30 pm

As a senior researcher and lecturer in the Department of Physics, Jason is a MIT cosmologist turned biophysicist. His lab specializes in using microfluidics, optics, and computational methods to study and alter interactions in living systems that tie to conditions ranging from Alzheimer's to cancer. His own first-gen experience heavily influenced his atypical academic path. A significant component of his effort at Princeton is building outreach connections and research opportunities for high school and undergraduate students. He lives in Princeton with his family and bikes (or eboards on weekends) to work. Fun fact: His research has stretched over 35 orders of magnitude in size between cosmology and proteins.
