Gloria Lu - I am a staff in Finance & Treasury with 25+ years of experiences in Procurement, Global Supply Chain, Six Sigma, Finance and IT in pharmaceutical, telecommunications and now in higher ed. I am currently responsible to lead sourcing/purchasing initiatives in collaboration with many departments on campus to enable them to select and engage the most valuable suppliers while mitigating risks. I also service as co-president of Asian Staff @ Princeton Employee Resource Group (comprised of 120+ members). I obtained my BS in Computer Science from Rutgers University, MS in Computer Science from RPI and MBA from Columbia University. I am Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. I was a first-gen immigrant, low-income student when I was in college, and can certainly relate to the many challenges that SIFP students face. I am a world citizen, traveled to Latin America, Europe and Asia countless times. I was born and raised in China, so speak Chinese and English fluently. I am a strong believer of services/civic engagement/volunteerism for the last 20+ years. I am an Admissions Advocate for Columbia Business School, a mentor/parent volunteer for Barnard College, have taught language and culture classes for years, and served one year at a food bank during the pandemic.
