Anthar has been a Lecturer in the Department of Molecular Biology since Fall 2020. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from UCONN, with a focus in Virology and Molecular Biology. As a lecturer, she primarily focuses on teaching undergraduates. She enjoys having conversations with students about advancements in science and its roles in society. She is Palestinian and grew up both in the USA and the West Bank. She loves traveling, cooking, playing tennis and watching live performances.
